It would take approximately 15
minutes walking from Deribasovskaya Street to reach central entrance to
Odessa central park or recreation which is named after Shevchenko (T.
Shevchenko - Ukrainian National poet). The park is large, with 225 acres
on a plateau which overlooks the Black Sea. The park is home to World
War II Memorial called the Alley of Glory, constructed in 1961; Odessa
central soccer stadium (football club "Chernomoretz); hobby carting
center; Odessa Dolphinarium.
Crossing Park Shevchenko you'll reach Otrada, Dolphin (Delphin), Arcadia
(Arkadia), Lanzeron beaches.
